Southfields Community College won an enthralling final of the U16s basketball competition. In a dramatic finale to the Wandsworth Basketball League. Southfields completed a remarkable comeback to beat Battersea Park School 50-48, and get their hands on the trophy for the first time.
However, much to the delight of the home support, Battersea did taste success in the U14s, beating Sir John Bosco school 42-32 in what was an exciting game.
The winners of ea ch age group were presented with medals and a trophy to take back to their respective schools.
Battersea Park will now go on to represent Wandsworth in the next round of the London School Games U14 Basketball Competition where they have been drawn to play against Richard Challenor School in Kingston.
