School Games

The School Games for 2012 has already started to take shape for the exciting year of sport ahead. Schools should have received an email about the new webpage http://www.yourschoolgames.com/update/6

How to get Tickets for 2012 School Games Finals! The first ever Sainsbury's School Games finals event will take place at the Olympic Park on 9 May 2012. Your school could be there cheering on the UK's best young athletes in the Olympic Stadium, Velodrome and Aquatics Centre! 

Volunteers needed for 2012 Finals Around 1600 athletes will compete at the 2012 School Games Finals on 9 May 2012 and we will require 400+ volunteers to support the event across a range of venues including the Olympic Park and the Excel.

School Games Kitemark – launched March 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the School Games 

Primary Membership – The Youth Sport Trust is offering Free Membership for the first year - £150 saving. For more info: http://www.youthsporttrust.org/page/primary/index.html

A number of Wandsworth schools have already qualified for London School Games event by winning the appropriate Wandsworth Competitions. These include Fircroft Primary - football, Honeywell Primary - Tag Rugby, Oak Lodge School – Boccia, Putney High & Graveney – badminton, and Battersea Park School in the U14 Boys & Girls basketball.
